What this website does not do

This portfolio has no contact forms, no user accounts and no comments. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or profiling tools. Images, videos, fonts and animations are served directly from this website: opening a page or playing a video does not connect your browser to any third-party service.

Data processed when you visit

As with any website, the server that hosts these pages automatically records technical data in its logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file requested, and the browser and device information sent by your browser. This data is used only to deliver the website, keep it secure and diagnose faults. The legal basis is the data controller’s legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for the limited period set by the hosting provider and are then deleted.

Data processed when you write to me

If you send an e-mail to the address above, your e-mail address and the content of your message are used only to reply to you and to follow up on your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Messages are kept for as long as the conversation requires and are then deleted, unless there is a legal obligation to keep them. The mailbox is provided by Google; Google’s processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area, which take place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

Who receives the data

The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, European Union), which acts as data processor on behalf of the data controller. Data is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else except where required by law.

External links

The links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Drive open external websites. No data is sent to them until you click; from that point their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your personal data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to heyyjoshmk@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of the EU country where you live.

Providing personal data is never required to browse this website, and no automated decision-making takes place.
